iPax has a feature that records auscultation sites.
The auscultated areas are color-coded, with the color becoming more intense as the auscultation time increases. The areas auscultated by students are individually recorded, saved on a management server, and can be viewed as an “image”. This feature is linked with quiz questions, allowing the evaluation of responses by overlapping them with the auscultation sites. This enables a comprehensive assessment of the students’ understanding of auscultation. No special settings are required for recording auscultation sites. It is recorded simply by pressing the “Finish button” after the students use iPax, showing which student auscultated which area. Such a feature has never existed before; it is a groundbreaking, world-first system unique to iPax.
